Call for Artists 

North. East. South. West. The cardinal directions, or corners, and their associated elements of earth, air, fire and water, are invoked for cleansing and protection in ritual preparation. They orient us in our relation to the waking world and respective cosmologies. They provide an internal compass in navigating a sense of self. Some cultures include a central point as a fifth direction.
 

In our newest call, we are seeking multidisciplinary and diverse artistic interpretation of the cardinal directions: artists, performers, musicians who are interested in collaboration, or individually exploring the concept of cardinal directions, which could include (but is not required to be) a focus on a single corner/element. Ideally, we would form a small group to develop this concept as either an exhibit, limited-time experience or hybrid.
